We list down, what we believe are the 10 most popular and most relevant young kapuso stars of today.

#01 Toni Gonzaga

Toni for us is the hottest young star for the first quarter of the year. PBB double up was a big success, her last movie Ang Tanging Pamilya did well in the box office tilts. While this month she will be seen in 4 T.V shows, and on the top of that she was named as the new leading lady of Mr. Robin Padilla in his new upcoming movie. Toni also replaced Angel Locsin in the upcoming prime time soap Kokey at Ako along side Vhong Navarro which is expected to debut this summer.

#02: Angelica Panganiban

Unlike most of her batch from the 90's to early 2000, Angelica was able remain relevant and stay on top. Late last year, her movie I Love you goodbye gross more than 100 million in the box office tilts. She is also one of the most in demand endorser right now, she is currently playing the title role in the prime time soap Rubi as well as Krissy in the gag show Banana split. Angel is also set to do a new movie this year entitled Here comes the bride and she is also nominated for Star Award for the best actress category.

Although Anne is still M.I.A in the prime time, she is very much active in the silver screen as well as being a cover girl for every magazine out there! Just like Kim, Gerald turned out to be one fine young artist. After his stint in Agimat series he proved his versatility as a dramatic actor in an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya. Right now he has 2 soap airing Kung tayo'y magkakalayo and Isla. Aside from being one of the most sought after leading man he is also very in demand as a cover boy for several magazines.

#05: Kim Chui

After the success of Tayong Dalawa Kim Chui immediately became a household name. Last January she starred in the movie titled Pano na kaya along side Gerald Anderson and by the month of February she plays the role of Gwen in the prime time soap Kung tayo ay magkakalayo top billed by Ms. Kris Aquino. John Lyod Cruz is definitely one of the few young male celebrity right now that can claim the best actor award without people questioning. Late last year he starred in the box office movie In My Life top billed by Ms. Vilma Santos and earlier this year he followed it up with Miss you like crazy opposite Bea Alonzo. Next he will be returning in Kapamilya's prime time block with Angel Locsin as his new leading lady.

Although Angel is M.I.A lately in the television department, she still remains as one of the most talk about and relevant celebrity during the first quarter of the year. The last quarter of 2009 up to early this year we saw a lot of Enchong Dee. He starred in 2 back to back successful prime time shows with Erich Gonzales.
